Fuel Your Wellness Journey

We have a belief at Chickahominy Falls that if you look after the land, the land will look after you. Woodside Farms is the place to unearth your wellness. Whether it’s growing out of the ground, or gained through knowledge that will make yourself a priority, the wholesome goodness can be harvested in more ways than one. We’re kicking off the New Year with a series of events in the big, red Barn at Woodside Farms that make your future a priority.

Woodside Wellness Fair

January 29th from 10am – 1pm

Throughout our health and wellness journey at Chickahominy Falls, we have found a network of professionals who are like minded. And every year, we bring them all together at the Woodside Wellness Fair. From delicious treats and consultation with local health and wellness vendors, the cumulative effect tips in your favor. Visit with our vendors DoTerra, Taylor Vashro Nutrition, Hens and Hemp, Twisted Carrot, Forever Foods Farm, Mother Shrub and Hanover Acupuncture and Wellness. Then purchase your Woodside Farms Grab & Go Lunch with either a vegan pozole rojo soup or pulled pork pressed Cuban sandwich.

Sip & Savor

February 8th from 6-8pm

Chef Devon Hammer is a Woodside Farms favorite. And he’s at it again, impressing us with a tasting and pairing event featuring intricate flavor creations, pulling from multiple styles of cuisine, culture, and creativity. And for the perfect pairing, this brand-new menu will be matched with Richmond’s best beer, cider, and wine from Garden Grove Brewery. Seating is limited for this popular event, so purchase your ticket today. (https://www.woodsidefarms.net/product-page/sip-savor)

Woodside Wellness Chats

Monday, March 14th from 5-7:30pm

The say the greatest wealth is health. Our Woodside Wellness Chat series is designed to educate and enlighten through a variety of topics and professional speakers, tailored specifically for our Chickahominy Falls residents and greater Hanover community.

We are pleased to introduce to you Woodside Wellness Chats at the barn. Up first is Dr. Mary Helen Hackney, Medical Director of Community Oncology with VCU Massey Cancer Center to discuss the facts and myths concerning cancer.  With tips to get ahead of your health to make the most of this stage of life. This event is free, but seating is limited. There will be a cocktail reception following the speaker.

Winter Farm Stand

It’s salad season down on Woodside Farms. Where every day of the week, you will find goodness gathered by the dinner serving size. Bunched salad mix greens, mustard blends, arugula and spinach provide the perfect base layer for a meal that will feed your soul. Wholesome living starts right at home.
