Oh, what a year it has been. What started with Zoom meetings and social media being the closest ways to connect, ended with social distance taking a back seat to something special at Chickahominy Falls. A new, old-fashioned way of safely coming together, in person to share the best of Chickahominy Falls. Our friends and neighbors started making connections again through common interests. And now, as we are closing out 2021, with over 29 clubs setting the scene for a life well lived at Chickahominy Falls.

Eat. Sleep. Craft. Repeat.
They say the desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. Well then it’s no wonder these ladies look so fulfilled. There is never a shortage of projects. From painting and knitting, the Crafting Clubs keep creativity in the mix. Meeting on the second Tuesday of every month from 10-noon. Each member will take turns selecting the craft of the month. With so much interest here at home, there’s not one, but two Crafting Clubs to consider.
Enjoy The Ride.
Getting out on two wheels is a great way to get acquainted with the area at a whole new level. Whether it is exploring scenic Virginia by bike or keeping close to home, the Biking club knows how to roll. Favorite rides include the community streets for their Loop and Breakfast ride, the Capital Trail and the Highbridge Trail.
All In For Fun.
Look at these faces. Learning the art of bluff calling and enjoying every minute of it. The Poker Club gets together to enjoy the game of course, but the camaraderie of friends and neighbors is the real winning strategy.
Paired Well With Friends.
These people know how to have a good time. Enjoying the subtle nuances of reds and whites, learning how to pair them for experiencing while pairing great tastes with even better conversation. This holiday season, The Wine Club gathered for some festive fun.
Namaste, All Day.
Well, at least every Monday from 10-11 am for beginners and 11-noon for the more experienced. Friends gather in the Barn to improve their strength, balance, flexibility and coordination. Not to mention their peace of mind, too.
Be Boss of The Toss.
Consider it a beanbag toss for grown-ups. The Cornhole Club promotes fun over competition every second Thursday of the month from 2-5:30 p.m. and the fourth Saturday from 1:30-4pm.
From golf to woodworking, ballroom dancing and pickle ball, there are so many ways to get involved in the real social network that is alive and well at Chickahominy Falls.
